Holland Beckett Law welcomes seven new lawyers
Holland Beckett Law adds seven new lawyers to their growing team.
Solicitor Rebecca Gerard has joined the Litigation and Dispute resolution team in Tauranga with a focus on local government, commercial disputes and criminal matters. Prior to joining Holland Beckett earlier in the year Rebecca was a solicitor at Auckland City Council where she worked in the Regulatory & Enforcement Team, gaining experience in a range of regulatory and local government issues.
Laura Jeffries is a solicitor in the Litigation and Disputes Resolution Team in the Tauranga office. Laura has four years' previous legal experience at a large Hamilton based law firm and more recently as an in house lawyer at Federated Farmers, where she provided Resource Management and Policy advice to the organization.
Solicitor Grace Marshall is a BOP local and has joined the Tauranga Commercial Property team after spending two years at another local law firm. Grace specialises in a range of commercial and property matters and is currently working towards her Level Two Te Reo Maori Certificate.
Angus Hendry has returned to his hometown Tauranga to join the Property/Commercial Team working closely with Bill Holland. Angus started his legal career as a solicitor at Fitzherbert Rowe Lawyers in Palmerston North where he spent two years working on commercial and property transactions.
Pavee Patanasiri completed his law degree with honours and was the recipient of two Dean’s List Awards (Civil Disputes and Judicial Review) as well as the LexisNexis Prize for Public Law. Pavee then went on to serve as a Constable in the New Zealand Police before joining a large Auckland litigation firm in 2020. Pavee has recently returned to his hometown to take up a position in the Rotorua Litigation Team working with Partner James McDougall.
William Caskie graduated with Honours from the University of Otago and has joined the Tauranga Employment Team working with Jeremy Sparrow. Will worked part time at Allied Press publishing newspapers, where he learned attention to detail and working under pressure to meet deadlines.
Tim Goodman also graduated from the University of Otago and has joined the Property Commercial team in the Tauranga office working with Luke Stewart. Tim is a keen sportsman including rugby, golf and cricket and is assisting with coaching the U14 team at Otumoetai College this year.
