Auckland's Bankside Chambers says chambers member Kate Davenport QC was called to the Bar in the United Kingdom by the Middle Temple in a ceremony held in London on 21 July 2015.

Congratulating her on her admission, it says it enables Kate to practise as a barrister in England as well as New Zealand.

Ms Davenport was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in October 1983. She was appointed Queen's Counsel on 16 May 2013.
