The CEO of New Plymouth law firm Govett Quilliam, Lyal French-Wright, has been appointed as a member of Deputy Chair of the Western Institute of Technology at Taranaki council.

Mr French-Wright has been at Govett Quilliam since 2012. He was previously Executive Principal of the Al Khor International School in Qatar and the Headmaster at New Plymouth Boys' High School.
