Canterbury firm Malley & Co has promoted four staff and welcomed another two lawyers.
Michael McKay.
Michael McKay has been promoted to senior associate in the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution team.
Michael joined Malley and Co in 2012 and specialises in construction and insurance litigation and is also experienced in arbitration and mediation.
Sarah White.
Sarah White has been promoted to senior associate in the Family Law team.
Sarah joined Malley & Co in 2014 and specialises in the area of relationship property as well day-to-day care and contact disputes, applications under the Hague convention on the civil aspects of child abduction, contracting out agreements, divorce and separation, and matters with international elements.
Colleen Moore.
Colleen Moore has been promoted to senior associate in the Family Law team.
Colleen joined the firm in 2008 and specialises in all aspects of Family Law, particularly relationship property and contracting out agreements, separation and divorce, care of children and guardianship disputes.
Andrew Logie.
Andrew Logie has been promoted to senior lawyer in the Commercial and Property team.
Andrew joined Malley & Co in 2015. He has experience in a wide range of commercial transactions. Andrew is also a current member of the New Zealand Law Society Canterbury-Westland Young Lawyers Committee.
Chantal Morkel.
Chantal Morkel has joined the firm as a senior associate in the Commercial and Property Law team.
Chantal originally commenced her legal career in South Africa and has a solid background in commercial, property and trust law. She has developed a specialist practice providing trust, asset planning and retirement village advice.
Lani Gerber.
Lani Gerber has joined the firm as an associate and Branch manager in the Hornby, Christchurch Office and is part of the commercial and property team.
Lani commenced her legal career in South Africa and after some criminal defence work early on her career has developed a broad range of commercial and property experience.
