Minter Ellison Rudd Watts has announced the promotion of five lawyers into senior positions.

Charlotte Carey has become a senior associate in the Banking and Financial Services team in Wellington. Charlotte joined the firm as a senior solicitor in 2014 from a boutique law firm. Since joining, Charlotte has become instrumental to the firm’s insolvency and recoveries practice.

Stephanie de Groot has become a senior associate in the Environment team, Auckland. Stephanie joined the firm’s Environment practice as a law clerk in 2010 after spending time at Auckland Regional Council in their coastal and air quality compliance teams. She specialises in all aspects of environment law.

Nick Frith has become a senior associate in the Dispute Resolution team in Auckland. Nick summer clerked with the firm before returning as a Dispute Resolution Law Clerk in 2010. Since then he has developed expertise in insurance and brokering law.

Jeryl-lynn Govender in the Corporate team, Wellington has been promoted to senior solicitor.

Zoe Barnes in the Corporate – Tax team in Auckland has been promoted to senior solicitor.
