Bell Gully has appointed Anna Buchly as its new Chair.

Ms Buchly is a specialist corporate lawyer with a particular focus on capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and joint ventures.

After graduating LLB(Hons) from the University of Canterbury she was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in January 1998. She worked for a major Sydney law firm from 1999 to 2001 and in Dubai from 2002 to 2004 for an international firm..

Ms Buchly has been a corporate partner with Bell Gully since 2008 and a board member for the past three years.

She replaces Chris Gordon who has stepped down after three years in the role, to resume fulltime practice.
