New partner and senior associate at Cavell Leitch

Cavell Leitch has announced two senior promotions.

Ashley-Jayne (AJ) Lodge has been promoted to partner. AJ leads the employment team and advises clients on all aspects of employment law.

She was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in February 2011 after graduating with BSc and LLB degrees from the University of Otago.

Ashley-Jayne represents clients at mediations, in the Employment Relations Authority, Employment Court, and Human Rights jurisdictions, as well as representing and advising sports players and clubs in disciplinary and general matters.

Kirsten McMullen has been promoted to senior associate.

Kirsten joined the firm in 2009 as a summer clerk after completing a double degree at the University of Otago in Law and the Arts. She has worked in the litigation department since her admission to the bar in October 2010.

She assists clients with a range of legal matters, including contract and tort law, commercial disputes, insolvency, Maori land law, dispute resolution, negotiation and debt recovery.
