Eight New Zealand law firms and a Wellington Queen's Counsel have been shortlisted for the inaugural Asialaw Asia-Pacific Dispute Resolution Awards.
The awards will be presented on 24 September 2015 in Hong Kong.
The New Zealand firms which are been nominated for the New Zealand National Law Firm of the Year are:
Minter Ellison Rudd Watts
Wellington Queen's Counsel David Goddard QC, who is based in Thorndon Chambers, is one of five who have been nominated for the Barrister of the Year award.
Simpson Grierson is one of the eight firms nominated in the Best in Energy and Natural Resources category.
Chapman Tripp is one of six firms nominated for Best in Insurance.
Hesketh Henry and Lowndes are in the seven firms nominated for Best in Shipping & Maritime.
Wilson Harle is one of eight firms nominated for Disputes Boutique of the Year.
