Russell McVeagh says it has been awarded Rainbow Tick certification.

The Rainbow Tick programme is designed to help an organisation ensure it is a safe and welcoming workplace for employees of diverse gender identity and sexual orientation.

Becoming certified involves an audit of relevant documents and the use of two focus groups. The audit covers five areas. Once an organisation has demonstrated compliance with all five areas it is awarded certification, which is valid for 12 months.

Russell McVeagh CEO Gary McDiarmid says the firm is committed to building upon the achievement and continuing to work to make its environment a welcoming place for all of its employees to feel comfortable enough "bringing their authentic selves to work".
