Hamilton lawyer Russell Boot has been elected President of the New Zealand Law Society's Waikato Bay of Plenty branch.

Mr Boot was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in May 2001, and was elected at the branch AGM on 21 June 2017. He practises at Gavin Boot Law.
