Three lawyers are among the finalists announced for the 2017 Women of Influence awards.

Now in their fifth year, the awards celebrate women across 10 categories who have built on their personal and professional successes to help and inspire others.

The winners will be announced on 7 September 2017.

Russell McVeagh partner Pip Greenwood is a finalist in the Board and Management category.

Deborah Manning, a barrister at Auckland's Landmark Chambers, is a finalist in the Community/Not Profit and Public Policy categories.

Chapman Tripp solicitor Rez Gardi is a finalist in the Global category.
