Todd Walker announces promotions
Todd Walker has announced a series of promotions within the firm.
Sarah Ogilvie has been promoted to Special Counsel.
Sarah specialises in property and trust law and advises clients across personal and business matters. She works on residential and commercial conveyancing, refinancing, asset planning and trusts, and also assists clients with estate planning including wills and enduring powers of attorney.
Jessica Weinberg has been promoted to Special Counsel.
Jessica specialises in commercial and property law. She advises on property transactions, share and asset sales, shareholders’ agreements and banking and finance, and has expertise in Overseas Investment Office matters. She also advises on estate planning, including wills and trusts.
Robbie Bryant has been promoted to Special Counsel.
Robbie is a specialist employment lawyer leading the firm’s employment practice, advising boards of directors, senior managers and executives, human resources and people managers, and business owners throughout New Zealand and overseas. He handles contentious and non-contentious matters, with expertise in senior exits, restraints of trade and other post-employment obligations.
Paige Noorland has been promoted to Senior Associate.
Paige is an experienced criminal defence lawyer in our litigation team and has conducted over 25 jury trials in the High Court and District Court. Paige’s trial experience ranges from serious violence, sexual violence and serious drug offending to dishonesty and driving offending. As well as offering private instruction, Paige is a duty lawyer and Legal Aid provider and regularly appears in the Queenstown, Invercargill, Dunedin and Alexandra District Courts.
Rachel Kuklinski has been promoted to Senior Associate.
Rachel is an experienced property and commercial lawyer. She advises on residential and rural property transactions, occupation right agreements, contract reviews and financing. She also advises on relationship property and estate planning, including wills and enduring powers of attorney.
Zak Kneebone has been promoted to Associate.
Zak has vast experience advising clients on a wide range of matters, including relationship property disputes, contracting out agreements, parenting and guardianship matters, family violence matters, estate disputes, and applications under the Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act. He regularly represents clients in Family Court hearings and is also a lead provider of Family Legal Aid services.
Atlanta Stewart has been promoted to Associate Registered Legal Executive.
Atlanta assists clients with residential and commercial conveyancing, refinancing and estate administration matters. She also supports clients with trusts, wills and enduring powers of attorney while working closely with the team to ensure matters run smoothly.
Katie Hensman has been promoted to Senior Solicitor.
Katie works across property, private client and commercial matters. She advises on residential and commercial conveyancing, property due diligence reporting, commercial contract review and leasing, and also works on trust law and private client matters including estate planning.
Maddy Masterton has been promoted to Senior Solicitor.
Maddy specialises in employment law, regularly advising both employers and employees on a wide range of workplace employment matters. She also has extensive experience in family and relationship property law, regularly assisting with care of children and guardianship matters, family violence proceedings, relationship property division and contracting out agreements.
Lewis Webb has been promoted to Senior Solicitor.
Lewis specialises in criminal defence and advises on a wide range of cases including serious violence and sexual violence offending, drug related matters, dishonesty and driving offences. He regularly appears in the Queenstown and Invercargill District Courts.
Emily Mills has been promoted to Office Coordinator. She plays a key role in supporting the firm's Property and Commercial team, helping with the preparation of property transaction documents, liaising with external stakeholders such as banks and real estate agents, and ensures that deadlines are met with efficiency and accuracy.
