A well-established and rapidly growing legal practice in the Otago region is seeking a senior-level property lawyer to join its busy and highly regarded team.

About the Role
You will work closely with the supervising partner while enjoying a high level of autonomy and responsibility, including:
Residential and commercial property conveyancing
Subdivisions and large-scale development projects
Commercial transactions and rural transactions
Estate planning, trust formation and succession planning
Relationship property matters as they relate to property and private client work
High-value private client work
Supervision, mentoring and training of junior solicitors and legal staff
File management, client care, and strategic input into practice growth
About You
We are seeking a lawyer who:
Has at least 8 years’ PQE (all strong candidates will be considered)
Has extensive experience in property and related commercial work
Possesses a strong technical grounding in:
Residential & commercial conveyancing
Subdivisions and development work
Rural transactions
Estate, trust and succession planning
Relationship property matters
Is a motivated self-starter with excellent file and time-management skills
Is confident supervising junior lawyers and contributing to team leadership
Has a collaborative and team-focused approach
