Juno Legal welcomes Simone Robbers and Danae Weston

Juno Legal has welcomed the addition of Simone Robbers and Danae Weston to its team.

Simone Robbers has joined Juno Legal's Wellington team. She has over 25 years’ experience as a senior leader, lawyer, and executive across conduct and prudential regulation in the financial services industry, including executive roles at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand and the Financial Markets Authority. Her career also includes roles at the Securities Commission, AXA New Zealand, and Simpson Grierson. She gained her early financial services experience as in-house counsel at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (LloydsTSB Bank plc) in Edinburgh. She holds an LLB from University of Otago and is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors. As a Juno Lawyer, Simone is supporting Invest New Zealand, the new Crown entity within NZ Trade & Enterprise. 

Danae Weston has joined Juno Legal’s Auckland team. She has over 20 years’ experience in commercial development and property law, working in both private practice and senior in-house roles. Danae was most recently a partner at Meredith Connell where she led the commercial property team, and prior to that held senior roles at Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities and the Ministry of Education in project management. She began her career at Duncan Cotterill before moving to Chapman Tripp. She holds an LLB (Hons) and BA from the University of Otago. Danae joins the Juno team supporting Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei Whai Rawa.
