Amanda is a highly experienced trade mark specialist with nearly 25 years’ advising clients across a wide range of industries, bringing her knowledge to MoranLaw's Intellectual Property team.

Over the course of her career, Amanda has held senior roles at intellectual property firms in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Most recently, she served as Head of Trade Marks at AJ Park, where she led a team of over 50 trade mark specialists.

Amanda has worked with clients from start-ups and SMEs through to large multinational corporations, advising across the full trade mark life cycle - from clearance to registration, enforcement and portfolio management. Her industry experience spans technology, manufacturing, retail, marine, finance and healthcare, with a particular interest in FMCG.

Amanda’s expertise has been recognised by various legal directories and publications, including Managing IP STARS, Best Lawyers and The Legal 500. Amanda was also named in the New Zealand Lawyers Elite Women List in 2021.
