The Commercial and Business Law Committee monitors reform proposals in all areas of commercial and consumer law.
The Commercial and Business Law Committee was established in 1989. Since its inception the committee has played an important role in law reform, reviewing discussion documents and bills that propose significant changes in all areas of commercial and consumer law.
Damian Chesterman is the convenor of the Commercial & Business Law Committee. Damian is an arbitrator, mediator and commercial barrister with a strong litigation background. He provides advice on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including commercial contract disputes, the financial services sector, business transactions and corporate governance.
