We are excited to be partnering with Holland Beckett to recruit several solicitors to join their Corporate and Finance team The team is led by three Partners and advises domestic and international clients across a wide range of work, including secured and unsecured finance transactions; aviation and asset finance (primarily international), project finance (energy and infrastructure), mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and venture capital funds and private equity. 

We are seeking motivated and capable NZ-admitted lawyers with 2–8 years’ PQE who are ready to take their career to the next level. The ideal candidates will bring: 

  • Strong transactional experience. 

  • Commercial acumen – a solid understanding of business, commercial realities, and risk, allowing you to provide pragmatic and commercially focussed legal advice. 

  • Exceptional client service skills – you take pride in building strong, professional relationships, understanding client needs, and delivering advice that is clear, timely, and tailored to their objectives. 

  • Excellent communication and transaction management skills – you are confident in drafting, negotiating, and managing transactions of varying complexity, keeping all parties informed and ensuring smooth progress from start to finish. 

  • Down-to-earth, collaborative, and team-oriented approach – you thrive in a supportive, inclusive environment, enjoy sharing knowledge, and contribute positively to team culture.
