We are excited to be partnering with Holland Beckett in their search to recruit several solicitors with 2–6 years’ PQE to join their Property and Commercial teams. You’ll work on a diverse range of matters, including commercial property acting for landlords and property owners, residential, commercial, rural, and subdivision transactions, rural property matters including the kiwifruit industry, business transactions such as the sale and purchase of businesses and shares, business structuring and shareholder agreements, estate planning and asset protection, local authority work supporting councils and public entities, and Māori Land Law commercial and property transactions. 

• We are seeking motivated and capable NZ-admitted lawyers with 2–6 years’ PQE who are ready to take their career to the next level. The ideal candidates will bring: 
• Strong property or commercial/corporate law experience – you will have practical, hands-on experience navigating complex property transactions, commercial agreements, or corporate matters, with a proven track record of delivering results for clients. 
• Commercial acumen – a solid understanding of business, commercial realities, and risk, allowing you to provide pragmatic and commercially savvy legal advice. 
• Exceptional client service skills – you take pride in building strong, professional relationships, understanding client needs, and delivering advice that is clear, timely, and tailored to their objectives. 
• Excellent communication and transaction management skills – you are confident in drafting, negotiating, and managing transactions of varying complexity, keeping all parties informed and ensuring smooth progress from start to finish. 
• Down-to-earth, collaborative, and team-oriented approach – you thrive in a supportive, inclusive environment, enjoy sharing knowledge, and contribute positively to team culture.
