All lawyers should log in to the “Personal details” screen in the Registry database to check that their email address and phone number are still correct. See making changes
Lawyers who do not intend to renew their practising certificate should contact registry@lawsociety.org.nz

Renewal information is sent to the email address on record for all lawyers and firm administrators.

Recommended that all payments are made before this date to allow sufficient time for processing and resolution of any issues. See fees

New practising certificates in force.
Lawyers who have not completed their online renewal declarations and/or paid the required fees by 30 June:
will have their name removed from the public register
will not be able to renew their practising certificate online
will have to complete a new application form; pay a late renewal fee of $59.80 and be approved by the Law Society to hold a practising certificate. See practising certificate application
