About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi

This is a fantastic opportunity for a legal generalist who enjoys variety. Based in our Wellington office, you’ll be part of our Legal Team working with Senior Lawyers across complaints, disciplinary processes and broader legal advisory.

  • Manage and support complaints and disciplinary processes end-to-end
  • Provide practical, timely legal advice across a wide range of areas
  • Draft reports, submissions, and legal documentation
  • Support investigations, hearings, and disciplinary committees
  • Contribute to organisational projects and risk management initiatives

Who we're looking for | Tā mātou e kimi nei

You’re a capable legal all-rounder who enjoys problem-solving and working with people. You bring sound legal judgement, strong communication skills and a proactive approach to your work.

  • Qualified lawyer eligible to practise in New Zealand (or working towards it)
  • Early career lawyer (graduate to ~3 years’ experience)
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including plain English writing
  • Able to manage competing priorities and work both independently and collaboratively
  • Builds effective relationships and brings a customer-focused approach
