Intermediate Crown Prosecutor - Rotorua

Gordon & Pilditch has opportunities for experienced criminal lawyers to join our team.

We are the office of the Rotorua Crown Solicitor, prosecuting all serious crime across the Rotorua region, including Taupō, Tūrangi and Tokoroa. We are seeking lawyers with strong advocacy skills, who wish to gain the skills necessary to competently prosecute on behalf of the Crown. You will be involved in all aspects of our criminal practice, including reviewing charges laid by the police, gaining Court experience under the supervision of senior prosecutors, and representing the Crown across the full spectrum of serious criminal offending.

Our firm has particular expertise in conducting regulatory prosecutions under the Resource Management Act and Civil Aviation Act. Our prosecutors regularly appear throughout the country in the District and High Courts for our local and national clients.

4+ years' PQE and jury trial experience to an intermediate Crown classification level are preferred. A strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a sense of humour are all essential.
