We are looking for an experienced solicitor to join our award-winning employment team. Your work will include advising and representing clients in disciplinary and performance matters, restructuring and redundancies, dispute resolution including mediation and advocacy at the Employment Relations Authority, compliance, workplace investigations, as well as drafting.

We work in partnership with employers and employees across a broad range of sectors. You will gain experience in engaging and stimulating work. As a trusted advisor, you will deliver practical, solutions focused advice.

If you have 2-5 years' PQE in employment law, have a strong work ethic and enjoy working in a team environment committed to work-life balance, we welcome your application.

You will have:

  • A minimum of two years’ PQE in New Zealand employment law
  • Experience in working directly with clients in advisory and advocacy work
  • A genuine interest in building relationships with new and existing clients
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Commercial judgment and a solutions focus
  • The desire to build your own practice and develop your legal skills
